Who We Are
We are a family on a joyous journey of faith to connect people with Christ and each other, to equip disciples, and to restore community, all in the name of Jesus. CommUMC is a congregation of people committed to changing the world, locally, nationally and abroad. We organize and participate in a number of missions projects throughout the year. We have a great love for the people of Haiti. We have been sending teams down there for almost two decades to do construction work, operate medical clinics, build and maintain schools and work in orphanages. Every November we organize Harvest for the Hungry which is a major fundraiser for the West Ohio Food Bank. We also organize the Big Drop which is a massive food distribution through the West Ohio Food Bank. Each year, thousands of people attend our Fall Fest, which is an entirely free carnival—complete with games, rides, food and music—the first Sunday in October.
